So many attractions offer discounts and educational activities on special homeschool days. I try to take advantage of as many of these days as I can!

We took a road trip to Charlottesville and Washington DC back in March 2012. If you're studying Thomas Jefferson and can make this trip possible, you'll be amazed at he much history can come alive at this visitor center and iconic home.
